The foot has three arches: the medial arch, the lateral arch, and the anterior arch.
The High-arched foot is characterized by’augmentation, often simultaneous, of its three arches, causing a plantar support who are reduced significantly, with a ground contact surface that can be, in the case of high arches, «stage 3,», divided by 2.
